Kayak/SUP or Ferry Shuttle
To get to the island you can take the Ferry Shuttle Boat from the Riviera Beach Marina, or you can kayak or paddleboard over there from the Marina. (Bring your own kayak or rent one there, kayaking will easier than paddle boarding over there, and Ferry is the easiest. See details below.)

Where to Rent kayak or SUP: there are several rental “huts” at the launch beach east of the Bicentennial Park open area. This is north of the actual marina and ferry dock. If it’s your first time, this can be hard to find. Be patient and ask for help. Book in advance. They do sell out. Current huts are:
https://www.nauticalventures.com/nv-booking-rental/ (typically cheaper, book in advance)
https://getwetwatersports.com/rentals/ (be sure to choose Riviera Beach Loc)
Where to Launch your own kaya/SUP: same beach as where the rental huts are. They do allow you to double park to unload your equipment before parking. Do not leave your vehicle unattended.
Island Shuttle: https://peanutislandshuttleboat.com/
· Currently listed as 10am-5pm every 25 minutes.
· Can be pre-booked online beginning mid-day on Monday May 12th for our event date on Sat May 17th. Sometimes sells out.
What to Bring: sunscreen, hat, towel, beach chair, beach umbrella, snorkel gear, SUP or Kayak (or rent, or take shuttle), lunch. Leashed dogs welcome on the ferry & the island. No alcohol is permitted on the ferry (they check) or on the island. You can have a “floating bar” if anyone wants to organize that!
