Cancellation Policy:  The Boca Ski Club is a not-for-profit Florida corporation and is not a Seller of Travel under Florida Statutes.  Money paid and owing for any trip is generally not refundable. However, under certain circumstances, Boca Ski Club may be able to refund some or all of money paid in the event of a cancellation. Factors controlling the ability to provide refunds are dependent on the timing of the cancellation and the time frames and arrangements pertaining to each particular trip, including the timing of Boca Ski Club’s obligations to make payments to travel agencies, and minimum number of travelers commitments.  For refund consideration, cancellation must be made in writing to the trip leader.

Additionally, the Boca Ski Club might be able to pay a partial or full refund if the participant offers an acceptable, eligible substitute traveler and the Club does not incur a loss.  For example, sometimes it is not possible to switch travelers on an airline.  Also, in certain circumstances, the Club may not be able to accept a substitution because of gender, or may require supplemental funds. Therefore, whether or not the Club may be able to pay a partial or full refund after cancellation is within the absolute discretion of the Club.  The Cancellation fee in any event is $25 per person plus any non-recoverable costs. The $25 cancellation fee may be waived if you transfer to another open trip and the club can recover all other costs. The transferred balance will be adjusted for any non-recoverable costs from the original trip.
