Walk and Sunset Picnic in Boca
Come and join us! You can choose between a 2 or 3 mile shady walk in the beach side parks in Boca Raton, followed by a sunset picnic on the intracoastal. Bring chairs, snacks and your favorite beverage!

LOCATION: Red Reef Park, Boca Raton
Meet at 5:15pm at the PARKING area 1371 N Ocean Blvd. Boca Raton, FL. 33432
PLEASE RSVP for this event so we know to watch for you!
We will meet in the public parking area at Red Reef Golf Course on the West side of A1A. This is across A1A from Red Reef Park, so don't drive into Red Reef Park! Look for our little green Club flags. Then we will walk together across A1A into Red Reef Park to walk on the mostly shaded pathways in the park. It is a pay for use lot, and credit cards are accepted.
Walk Logistics
1. Walk south towards South Beach Park Pavillion, 1 mile, then return to start of walk (2 miles round trip)
2. For those who want more walking, walk north .5 mile, to the end of the park, then
return to parking lot (1 mile round trip; total of 3 miles walking including step 1)
3. For those who have had enough walking after step 1, head back to the parking area's intracoastal park where we will have our picnic
Event Logistics
Bring water, sunhats, sunscreen, bug juice, chairs for the 2nd part of the event. Bring your favorite beverage (BYOB) and easy snacks to share for after the walk. Think cheese, crackers, bread, nuts, fruit, dried fruit, dips, and chips, etc.
The parking area has a lovely grassy picnic spot right on the intercoastal. It does have two covered pavilions, but they are first come first serve, so no guarantee we will get these unless we have a volunteer willing to “save” one for us while we are out walking.
