Located in the heart of the Chilean Andes, Valle Nevado ski resort is the largest winter resort in the Southern Hemisphere and is one of the most modern in Chile. Nestled in a wonderful natural setting, Valle Nevado offers more than 34 square miles of skiable terrain. Valle Nevado is famous for powder skiing, thanks to its high elevation, and phenomenal views of the Andes mountain range. With a new lift connecting Valle Nevado to La Parva and El Colorado, Valle is now part of Chile’s Tres Valles ski area. One lift ticket accesses all three resorts' combined 7,000 acres for a reasonable priceExperience peaks over 13,000 feet. 

The skiable area at Valle Nevado, especially when considering the incredible accessibility of Tres Valles lift ticket, is vast to say the least. With treeless terrain and only 14 lifts spread across the large area, the terrain options are limitless.

With nearly 70 percent of Valle Nevado’s terrain designated as intermediate to advanced, the resort is namely an intermediate skier’s resort. The terrain is largely comprised of wide-open, groomed runs ideal for laid-back cruising. Beginners also have gentle slopes to aid them in comfortable progression and optimal enjoyment. At Valle Nevado, experts will find a couple of steeper bowls and chutes, but the real draw is the backcountry access and heli-skiing available in this region.

Heli-skiing in Valle Nevado is a unique adventure that lets you experience the magic of the Andes for yourself. In the company of expert guides you'll discover glaciers, slopes covered with eternal snow, and spectacular descents through pristine powder.

HOTEL VALLE NEVADO

This four star hotel located slopeside in Valle Nevado is the coziest of the hotels. Here you can enjoy the relaxing fireplace in a lounge where attention to detail will surpass all expectations. You will be amazed with this classic boutique hotel in the mountains, where each and every one of the 53 spectacular rooms has been carefully arranged for your comfort and pleasure.

Valle Nevado's most exclusive hotel offers various hotel rooms and suites all with balconies. Each room in the hotel comes equipped with central heating, cable TV mini bar, telephone, safe, background music, full bath and daily housekeeping services.

All resort amenities are available. Half-board includes breakfast and dinner in one of the following restaurants: La Fourchette, Monte Bianco, Mirador del Plomo or Sur. Also unlimited access to ski lifts, Apres Ski at La Fourchette, spa services: one body massage per person (basic treatment, 25 minutes for reservations of 7 nights or more subject to availability), exercise room, aerobics and stretching lessons. Outdoor heated pool, children’s daycare (3 to 7 years old with some time restrictions), games room and activities, ski lockers, ski and snowboard maintenance (repairs not included). Welcome drink, Free Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas.

6-DAY EXTENSION TO PATAGONIA

6 days / 5 nights with all meals, house wine with dinner and 4 days of a variety of excursions.  Pricing includes ground transfers, air (Santiago-Punta Arenas) and "dome" accommodations at EcoCamp.  It's been described as "one of the most magical places on earth".  English speaking guides are provided and excursion examples are trekking, boat rides and kayaking.  You can pick your excursions, from easy to hard, and may change based on the weather.  Also included is the entrance fee to Torres del Paine National Park and boat tickets.  There's also a large common dome for meals, gatherings and hanging out.

Physical demands: The easy excursion options do not demand extensive physical activity, other than walking a maximum of two consecutive hours over fairly flat terrain. We stop as many times as necessary depending on the rhythm of the group.

• $4,376 - Suite Dome Loft - all the space and luxury of a Suite Dome with an added loft - pricing is per person for FOUR (4) people per dome
