We will take an approximately 12 mile bike ride through the charming 2-acre farm/suburbs of Parkland, with a half-hour stop at the Parkland Farmer's Market on the way back, and then lunch at Pizza Time Caffe around 12:30.  Along the way we pass small farm properties, including Bruce and Kris's cow pasture where, if you bring some cut up apples, you can feed Besse and Clara and feel their sandpaper tongues!  In addition to some cute cows, you will also probably see mini-horses, burros, full-size horses, goats, and maybe even peacocks as we ride through the neighborhoods.  The farmer's market is not too far from the restaurant as we head back, so you should be able to do a little shopping and carry your bounty back on your bike, but if you really like to shop you might want to bring a backpack!
