About Snowmass
Annually ranked as one of North America’s top ski destinations for families by all of the ski magazines, Snowmass specializes in providing an unparalleled experience for families. With a long list of kid- and teenager-centric activities and attractions, there’s no question that Snowmass is a family ski resort. With varied terrain and a seemingly endless array of ski in, ski out accommodations, and plenty of dining, après and nightlife hotspot, a Snowmass ski vacation is also great for skiers of all walks of life, not just families.
Ski Snowmass
One of the biggest reasons that Snowmass is reputed as the perfect resort for a family ski trip is in large part to its 25,000-square-foot Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center. This state-of-the-art facility is the hub for all things children, and with a several perfect areas solely devoted to beginner skiers, including the new Elk Camp Gondola. For a groomer-loving intermediate skier, Snowmass is paradise. The cruisers at Snowmass are meticulously manicured every night (and some are groomed at noon every day), and for those looking to challenge themselves there are many different areas for intermediates to hone their skills on. Expert skiers looking to test themselves will find cliffs to drop, tight trees to navigate and fresh powder throughout the more than 3,300 acres of skiable terrain at Snowmass.
DOWNTOWN ASPEN
Although Snowmass is located just a few miles from downtown Aspen, a Snowmass ski vacation has its own feel and experience independent of its famous neighbor. But, if you want to see what the hype surrounding downtown Aspen’s dining and nightlife is all about, hop on the free bus that runs regularly between Snowmass and Aspen.
